Itinerary

Day 1

We're leaving Bukittingi in the morning to drive to Sitingkai, a beautiful village with a special view. We will discover what daily life looks like here. Later we drive to Matua. An other village where we will observe the traditional way of roasting peanuts and making cane sugar. We'll continue to Puncak Lawang - also known as Lawang top where you'll have an incredible view over Lake Maninjau. From there we drive down the famous 44 bends surrounded by a panoramic view, rice fields and forest. To end this day we will drive through Swaha Panjang to reach Taruco village where we'll spend the night in a tent.

Day 2

In the morning we'll get up early to watch the beautiful sunrise, have breakfast and then continue to Kota Gadang. Kota Gadan is a small village with excellent view to see Singgalang mountain in it's full magic. Our later journey leads us through Pandai Sikek where the old tradition of hand weaving is still very strong to the foot of Singgalang. We'll drive through some fresh green rice fields to finally reach Sumpur Village where we stay over night (tent).

Day 3

This day is a wonderful journey through different unique villages. Like Malalo where they have special lake view or Sulik Aia in which they still have a few old traditional Minang Kabau houses. It's a nice ride all through to Harau Valley where we will spend our last night between majestic cliffs and lush rice fields. (tent again)

Day 4

After breakfast we have some time to discover Harau Valley and cool down in the river nearby from where we will return back to Bukittinggi.
